Truro (pronounced /ˈtrʊəroʊ/; Cornish: Truru) is a city and civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, and is the centre for administration, leisure and retail in Cornwall, with a population of 17,431.[1] Truro urban statistical area, which includes parts of surrounding parishes, has a population of 20,920.[2] It is the only city in the county, and the most southerly city in Great Britain. People from Truro are known as Truronians.
